Steadyhand have committed to supporting three curated seed-phase digital start-ups created by trade specialists in the South-West over the next two years (2026-2028). The first of these is a trust layer app for residential trade work that explores warranty norms and practices. Trade warranty disputes are an underappreciated design problem. This digital tool was therefore created to research, design and deploy a digital system that responded to user-centred questions about the future of warranty liabilities, escrow and digital document regulatory alignment in SME Trade-Client work in Western Australia.
