II. Waters

What we work on:
-
Smart water monitoring and reporting systems sized for small operators and community groups
-
Data tools that turn water and land readings into decisions people can act on
-
Integrating water data with the business systems farms and agritourism ventures already use
-
Education and training so local people can run, maintain and interpret these systems themselves
Where: Mid-West, South West, Great Southern, and their catchments
Who it serves: farmers, growers and agritourism operators; landcare and community water groups; the trades who install and maintain water infrastructure; local and state water and land policymakers; researchers and engineers in water systems.
Work with us:
-
Growers, operators and community groups: tell us what you need to know about your water, and we'll help you measure it.
-
Researchers and engineers: collaborate on field trials in real regional settings.
-
Policymakers, investors and sponsors: co-invest in local water capability that public programs haven't reached.
Key focus: Water shapes what a regional town, a farm or an agritourism venture can become. We help the people who look after local water and land do it sustainably, with good data and a fair say.
The capability gap: Individuals, groups, organisations and businesses want sustainable, data-driven ways to work with local water systems. They are often held back by a lack of public support, few educational opportunities and systems that don't connect. Farmers, growers and agritourism operators face the same gaps, where water use, land care and the visitor economy meet.
